About Me

Alex Quible is a bassist, performer, and songwriter from Lincoln, Nebraska, with more than a decade of experience playing live music. A graduate of Berklee College of Music's Professional Certificate in Bass program, he has performed in everything from rock bands and jazz ensembles to musical theatre pits, world music groups, and large-scale productions. As the bassist and organizer for the indie rock band Joyrager, Alex has helped grow the group into one of Nebraska's active emerging acts, performing dozens of shows across the region, winning the University of Nebraska Lincoln's Battle of the Bands, and sharing stages at venues throughout the Midwest. Known for his versatility, stage presence, and passion for connecting with audiences, Alex is always looking for new opportunities to perform, collaborate, and bring great music to life.

Career Goals

My current career goals are centered around growing Joyrager into a sustainable touring and recording act. As a band, we maintain an active performance schedule with over fifty shows in under a year and a half and plan to continue expanding our presence throughout Nebraska and the Midwest. We are continually writing new music, pursuing new performance opportunities, and preparing to record a full-length album. Beyond our own success, we hope to strengthen connections within the local music community and help showcase the depth of talent that exists in Lincoln and across Nebraska. Through live performances, collaboration, and community engagement, our goal is to create meaningful musical experiences while contributing to the continued growth of the region's music scene.

This Semester

Hobbies

Outside of performing, I enjoy songwriting and music composition. I regularly write original music for both personal projects and collaborative bands, exploring a variety of styles while continuing to develop my skills as a musician and creative artist.
